Sparks - When Do I Get To Sing, My Way (1994)
Sparks is an American rock and pop music band formed in Los Angeles in 1970 by brothers Ron (keyboards) and Russell Mael (vocals), initially under the name Halfnelson.
They have been making diverse music since 1969 under various incarnations of Sparks. In 1979 they ditched the guitars and keyboards of glam geek rock and started working with Italian producer Giorgio Moroder, beginning a love affair with electronic music. "Gratuitous Sax & Senseless Violins" is the sixteenth album by Sparks. It was released in 1994, after an absence from the music industry of 5–6 years. The lead single "When Do I Get To Sing "My Way" reached #38 in the UK (in 1994), (it was re-released in May 1995 and peaked at #32.

"Don't Cry For Me Argentina" is the best-known song from the 1978 musical Evita with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. Sung by the title character Eva Peron.
Sinéad O'Connor's version managed to reach number 53 in the UK singles chart, and was the second single taken from her third album "Am I Not Your Girl", an album of covers of mostly jazz standard.

The Smithereens - Top Of The Pops (1991)
The Smithereens are a rock band from Carteret, New Jersey, United States. The group formed in 1980 with members Pat DiNizio (vocals & guitar), Jim Babjak (guitar & vocals), Mike Mesaros (bass guitar & vocals), and Dennis Diken (drums & percussion) . This lineup continued until 2006, when Mesaros left the band and Severo Jornacion took over on bass guitar.
The Smithereens have collaborated with numerous musicians, both in the studio (Suzanne Vega and Belinda Carlisle) and live (Graham Parker and The Kinks). The band's name comes from a Yosemite Sam catchphrase, "Varmint, I'm a-gonna blow you to smithereens!" "Top Of The Pops" only reached the Rock Charts.

Enigma - Sadeness (1990)
"Sadeness (Part I)" is a 1990 song created by the musical project Enigma. "Sadeness" was written by Michael Cretu (under the pseudonym Curly M.C.), Frank Peterson (under the pseudonym F. Gregorian), and David Fairstein. The lyrics are in Latin and French; the Latin text includes a quotation from Psalm 24:7-8. The Extended Trance Mix from the CD single contains some additional French lyrics. The Gregorian vocals were mostly taken from the 1976 album Paschale Mysterium by Munich choir "capella antiqua" with conductor Konrad Ruhland, specifically from their track "Cum angelis + Psalm 24".

"Robbie" Nevil (born October 2, 1958) is an American pop singer–songwriter/producer/guitarist.In 1986 he received his first recording contract, signing with Manhattan Records, for whom he recorded his debut album with producers Alex Sadkin and Phil Thornalley. Tom Kimmel (born Thomas Eugene Hobbs II in 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee), is an American singer-songwriter and poet.
A respected performer and recording artist, Kimmel is perhaps best known as a songwriter, as his compositions have been recorded by many popular artists, including Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Linda Ronstadt, Joe Cocker and Randy Travis. His songs have also been featured in television shows and in films. "That's Freedom", the lead track on his "5 To 1" album, was co-written by Kimmel. Simple Minds - Ghostdancing (1986)
"Once Upon A Time" is the seventh studio album by Simple Minds, released in 1985.
Although already successful in their native UK and Europe, the band had also now become popular in the US, mainly due to the Keith Forsey-penned "Don't You (Forget About Me)" which appeared on The Breakfast Club soundtrack and had become a no.1 hit there. However, the band decided to leave the track off the album. Four singles were taken from the album; "Alive and Kicking" , "All The Things She Said", "Sanctify Yourself", and "Ghost Dancing".

Don Dixon - Praying Mantis (1985)
Don Dixon is considered to be one of the key producers of what is called the jangle pop movement of the early 1980s.
He spent thirteen years as a member of NC cult heroes Arrogance. Around 1983, Dixon attracted attention by co-producing with Mitch Easter, R.E.M.'s landmark debut LP Murmur. He then spent several years producing the work of varied artists including Chris Stamey (formerly of The dB's) and The Smithereens. Considered to be a highlight of this period was Tommy Keene's Run Now EP (co-produced with T Bone Burnett). This success led to Dixon recording his solo debut "Most Of The Girls Like To Dance (But Only Some Of The Boys Like To) from 1985, with the song "Praying Mantis", which never made the charts.

Richard Harris - My Boy (1971)
"My Boy" is the title of a popular song from the early 1970s. The music was composed by Jean Bourtayre and Claude Francois , and the lyrics were translated from the original version "Parce que je t'aime, mon enfant" (Because I Love You My Child) into English by Phil Coulter and Bill Martin. Actor Richard Harris performed the song "My Boy" at a music contest sponsored by Radio Luxembourg in 1971. Despite not winning the contest, Harris recorded the song and released it as a single later that year. Appearing on Harris' album of the same name, the song reached #41 on the Billboard pop chart.
