Garland Jeffreys is an American singer songwriter of African-American and Puerto Rican ancestry. His music is a unique blend of rock and roll, reggae, blues and soul.
"The Answer" was taken from his album " Don't Call Me Buckwheat" (1991).
It has a soulful, R&B sound, along with a little reggae, doo wop, and gospel thrown in.
