Jim Steinman With Karla Devito - Dance In My Pants b/w The New York Philharmonic Orchestra Storm (Prologue To The Album "Bad For Good" (1981)
"Dance in My Pants" is a song, written and produced by Jim Steinman. It featured female vocalist Karla DeVito (which is also singer on Meat Loaf's "Paradise by the Dashboard Light".
The song repeat the “Bat Out of Hell” formula instead of building upon it; the obvious culprit in this arena is "Dance In My Pants," a duet that gratuitously recycles the battle of the sexes verbal sparring and the multi-part structure to less-impressive effect.
"Dance in My Pants" was the 3rd single taken from Steinman´s “Bad For Good” album.

As CCR was coming to an end, Fogerty began working on a solo album of country & western covers. Fogerty played all of the instruments on the album, which was released in 1973 as “The Blue Ridge Rangers”.
Upon its initial release by Fantasy Records in 1973, the album was credited to "The Blue Ridge Rangers" with no mention of Fogerty on the cover. Fogerty chose to do this in order to distance himself from his Creedence legacy.

Alicia Bridges - Body Heat b/w We Are One (1978)
Alicia Bridges (born July 15, 1953) is an American singer who co-wrote and performed her international hit "I Love the Nightlife (Disco 'Round)" in 1978.
Bridges' second single, "Body Heat", was a rock song with strong electric guitar rhythms. It was a "rock/dance" song released at a time when there was some rivalry between disco fans and rock fans; this time period began to see more songs which mixed the genres of rock and disco to create a "rock/disco" flavor.

The Beach Boys - Marcella b/w Hold On Dear (1972)
"Marcella" is a song written by Brian Wilson, Tandyn Almer and Jack Rieley for the American rock band The Beach Boys about a massage therapist. It was released on their 1972 album “Carl and the Passions” - "So Tough". It is the last song to feature Bruce Johnston during his original tenure in the band.
The song branched from an earlier track entitled "I Just Got My Pay" recorded during sessions for “Sunflower”. This early version appears on the box set “Good Vibrations: Thirty Years of The Beach Boys”.
Brian Wilson has said of "Marcella": "It represents one of the first times we tried to emulate The Rolling Stones. In my mind, it was dedicated to the Stones, but I never told them that. It's one of the rockingest songs I ever wrote." According to Jack Rieley, the tune was named for a woman who was working as Brian's masseuse at the time.

B.T. Express - Give Up The Funk (Let's Dance) b/w Better Late Than Never (1980)
B.T. Express (originally named Brooklyn Transit Express) was an American funk/disco group, that had a number of successful songs during the 1970s.
From their album “
Thankfully there are no Parliament ripoffs to be found here, and no references to "the bomb," as the sound is 100% B.T. Express with an updated sound, including the ray gun 'pew pew pew' of electric tom tom drums.
The tune also brings back the Express's best trademark: long, darkly-hued horn phrases used to punctuate the jams in a an understated way, as if Maceo Parker took a few Valium.
